I’m trying to find out if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I loved the library growing up, but like all of us change happens. I read your list of 25 reasons and what’s the ROI? If you want to fund the library go ahead and seek grants, funding, fund raisers.

Looks like the last page (from the print journal) of the references got cut off. We will fix that asap. The citation for the Dominican University Study: Susan Roman, Deborah T. Carran, and Carole D. Fiore,”The Dominican Study: Public Library Summer Reading Programs Close the Reading Gap,” Dominican University Graduate School of Library and Information Science, June 2010, accessed June 7, 2011, https://jicsweb1.dom.edu/ics/Schools/Graduate_School_of_Library_and_Information_Science/IMLS_National_Leadership_Grant_Final_Report.jnz
Let me know if more questions.

HI Michelle: Apparently that is a typo. The town is Putney, Vermont, not Putnam. Let me know if I can answer any further questions.

HI Kathy – We have just started adding these back issues to our site and are still trying to work out a way to include the author bios. We hope to fix that glitch soon. Thanks for writing!

Call it curiosity, or liking to glean ideas from my fellow librarians. I’m not finding a library for “Putnam, Vermont” in my searches, or even a place called “Putnam, Vermont” …. (although there is a Mount Putnam…literally a mountain, and there is also a Putnam Valley Free Library, but that is in New York) … Any clues on where to find the library online?

I’d like to know who they are…
