It seems to be a double edged sword. On the one hand patrons are beginning to expect the personalized services that are commonplace in today’s world; while on the other hand, simultaneously speaking out about the right to privacy. It will be interesting to see which side wins as the public becomes more aware of AI tracking. When every person begins to understand why the vacation ads for recently searched destinations pop up in the sidebar of their email or why Siri seems to always offer them available Thai restaurants in a new location, will this scare them or be accepted? I happen to think that acceptance will when each time because of the convenience of the service.
